Building pages in Next.js

Next.js makes it easy to build React apps with server-side rendering, file-based routing, and API routes. You can add pages by creating React components in the pages directory. Each page is automatically server-rendered and has a corresponding URL based on its file name. Some important Next.js concepts include: • File-based routing - Each file inside the pages directory becomes a route. For example, pages/about.js is /about.

• Server-side rendering - Next.js pre-renders each page at build time using Node.js. This makes for fast page loads and SEO-friendly apps. • API routes - You can create API endpoints under the pages/api directory. These endpoints can be used to build your own backend API.

• Link component - Use the Link component from Next/link to navigate between pages. It improves performance over regular tags. • Image component - The Image component from Next/image optimizes the loading of images in your app.
